Wow. Long time, no see. I can't believe I've actually been away this long. But, Facebook is a lot "easier" to use. I don't have to worry about coming up with something new to post each time I get on, and there's a lot more you can do with Facebook. So, if you don't have one, or you just plain miss me... go get one.

So, what've I missed? I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess nothing. Am I right? Thought I was. Actually, the question I should really be asking here is what've you been missing? There's been a ton of The Dark Knight movie news that you guys probably haven't heard or seen yet. Pictures of the Joker, Batman's new suit (my profile pic.), the Batpod (or Batman "motorcycle"), Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent, Maggie Gyllenhall as the new Rachel Dawes, a Dark Knight teaser trailer, and more. But, I guess most of you guys probably don't really care. Anyway...

I have been thinking about shutting down my Xanga page, but I think I'd miss it if I did that. There's at least 2 years worth of posts that I wouldn't be able to recover if I deleted my page. So, I'll keep it up, but I won't guarantee a new post every week like I used to do. In fact, I might not get on at all. So, in conclusion, everybody get a Facebook. I'm on it all the time, and it's fun to have anyway. Well, ah-dee-ohs, everyone.

Ahoy there, mateys! Belay the gab, ya bilgewater rats, and climb aboard the Black Nodnarb whilst I tell ye a tale about the day I saw one of the best movies of the year, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.

Alright, I'll stow the pirate lingo for now, but I'm still going to tell you about Pirates 3. For starters, it's the best Pirates movie ever. Most of you will disagree with me, because most of you are idiots, but you forget that I've also seen Pirates 1 and 2, like the rest of you, and I say that Pirates 3 is the best. It's funny, action-packed, and has a great story -- everything you would expect from Pirates of the Caribbean. Also, the music is excellent, even better than the second one (which is saying a lot). I wouldn't be surprised if Hans Zimmer got an Oscar nomination.

Well, that's about all I'm going to tell you for now. I know it wasn't much, but if you want to find out more, go see the movie. Oh, and (as always) stick around until after the credits for the not-going-to-show-it-until-after-the-credits-are-done scene.

Okay, everyone, guess what we did yesterday? No clue? Well, let me tell you... We finally got to see Spiderman 3!!! And, let me tell you it's just as good if not better than Spiderman 2. In this one, Spidey has to fight three new villains: the new Goblin (Harry), Sandman, and Venom. Now, this may sound like a lot of villains for one movie, but Sam Raimi (the director) manages to pull it off very well. The CGI is great, the story is great, the acting is great (as usual)... Overall, the movie is absolutely excellent. The only problem I have with it is the new composer, Christopher Young. I understand that Danny Elfman (the composer of the first two films) is busy with other movies, but he is the only one who can do the score for Spiderman. Christopher Young's score wasn't that bad, and at times it sounded pretty good, but I'm just glad that they put in some of Danny's music cues. If it hadn't have been for those moments where Danny Elfman's Spiderman themes popped in, I might've had a big problem with the score. But, hey, it's not even that big of a deal. One minor flaw in one excellent movie. Don't let anything stop you from seeing this movie, Spiderman 3 is a very satisfying end to this one chapter in the whole Spiderman story. I would've said "a very satisfying end to the Spiderman films," but that wouldn't be true...

Spiderman 4 is scheduled to be released in either 2009 or 2010.

P.S. Oh, and if you don't see Spiderman 3, you'll never find out how Mary Jane... oops! I almost said it. Heh heh heh.

Yes, I've been gone a very long time, but only because I've been so busy lately. Watching TV, playing video games... those things aren't going to do themselves you know. Sure, I could be playing outside, what with the weather being all warm-like (or, at least it was when I first wrote out this post in my notebook), but there's just something about sitting around on your butt all day that makes going outside seem a little boring. Besides, you stay cooler indoors -- just pop open a window, and you're set. Anyway, I've been meaning to update for awhile, it's just that I never got around to doing it. But, guess what? I'm doing it now. I'm updating. I've gotten off the couch and have situated myself in front of the computer screen. Now that I've accomplished such an amazing feat, what the heck am I going to talk about? Wait! I've figured it out. Why don't I tell you all about the great movies that will be coming out soon? Now there's a subject that never gets old...

In case you didn't know, the trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End is out. Just go to Yahoo! Movies, www.movies.yahoo.com, to check it out. Also, while you're there you mind as well check out the special clip too. It's pretty good.

Another good movie coming out soon is Indiana Jones 4. Now who doesn't love Indiana Jones? Okay, well maybe that's not the question to ask you people. I'm not sure you guys have even seen any of those movies. I know those Ingersoll brats haven't. (At least that's what Jon told me.) Anyway, if you haven't seen any of them, you don't know what you're missing. If you start now, you can finish all of them in time for the next one scheduled to be release on May 22, 2008. Cate Blanchett and John Rhys-Davies will be in it...

    ***

Well, that's pretty much all I have to say for now. I'll try not to talk about movies next time for your guys sake.
